| 20 December 2024 | We’ve been contacted by Zoom twice today and we decided to keep the room number and just change the password to the room. It wasn’t possible to keep the same room number, so had to set up a number, sorry. We also used the mailing list to send the new room/password details. Should you discover the room broken, please check this site. We will list other sites even if they are not “hosted” by us. We’ll try and mention any changes in the room next time, just in case everything goes wrong again. |

In light that it will soon be Christmas, we will this time force a room number/password combination this time, this is to ensure guys know which room/password to use closer to Christmas and hopefully come by on Christmas Day to say hi to the guys. | 16 December 2024 | Earlier today we were contacted by zoom to alert us that they know someone had posted the zoom link, along with the password. The link was made public by means of a tweet. They’ve suggested removal of the tweet, change of zoom password etc, but we’ve decided to create a totally new room instead, after all zoom will be looking to cancel the room in the near future away, as they’ve done with all the others. Removal of the tweet is unacceptable as word by mouth shouldn’t be censored and we won’t be naming the author of the tweet. The new link will be [redacted]We will switch the password of [redacted] room at lunch time tomorrow (unless zoom beat us to it) that’s lunch time at GMT/London time or 7am New York time. We’re hoping news of the new link will trickle down to the users and guys will know there is a new link in time. |
