On 25/26 July of 2025 we discovered that Zoom had closed the room we’d had since February 2025, not only that but Zoom had banned some pigs (and hosts) from accessing Zoom

We would NOT recommend using any link that allows you to “report” a 1132 error to Zoom, as we believe they’re only asking this information to link perhaps your MAC or IP address to an email address. Everyone who has messaged in to say they’ve contacted Zoom to “request an appeal” don’t even get a response from Zoom

Sometimes the following can help:

• Try using the browser version, but from a different browser – sounds like it shouldn’t work, but sometimes it does, so try Edge or Safari if Chrome is your favorite browser. If you’ve tried them all, you could try downloading and using Opera
  
• Uninstall the Zoom App

• Clear your Zoom cookies

• Reboot your machine

• Reinstall Zoom

• Return to the Brown Room (hopefully)

• Sometimes if your using a VPN, it can affect the above

There has been talk of trying a privacy/private window, or create a new user on your computer, log into that new account and see if your still 1132 banned

Check if your banned from the app or with your browser too. If you find your not banned via your browser, downloading Google Chrome and downloading the Chrome Zoom plug-in is almost as good as the app. It’s a good idea to use the plug in as there is some functionality missing, that becomes available with the plug-in

We would like a show of trotters (hands) so we know how many pigs are blocked and if the above reinstalling has helped, please contact us.

A number of pigs have mentioned that accessing the brown room via an iPhone without a SIM card has worked (we assume they’re connected via Wi-Fi). This could mean more speaking than typing on a smaller device than their regular computer
