Unfortunately over the last 12 hours or so, our room has been used by people looking for illegal content and by that we mean content that you expect to only find on the “dark web”. One person wasn’t into brown, which was disappointing, but wasn’t clear if that meant he was in the Brown Room having heard he’d find links to this content in the Brown Room.
On Jan 30 we created a new room, and today, Feb 3, it’s been suspended already. Despite this suspension, we have created a fresh room again, even though we were going to keep to a free 40 minute room to begin with, we changed our minds and have created a usual paid for room.
Over the last few hours, people have been posting links to illegal content and we mean the most illegal content there is.
We suspect due to these links, Zoom suspended have the room, much quicker than usual.
We will need to do something to stop these spammers and will look to address the issue ASAP, if you have any suggestions, please email us.
We are looking to have members register with Zoom and have an account, then only allow those members into the room.
UPDATE 1:
Unfortunately the zoom room number and password was tweeted on twitter again. Also a bot appeared after a few hours.
We’ve changed the room number as quickly as possible.
UPDATE 2:
We’re now hoping that room that only lasted a few days was just a rare thing.
We would ask that guys don’t tweet the details of the room, thanks, especially when it’s not clear what the “theme” of the room is.
UPDATE 3 (11 Feb):
Now it’s been a while, we’re now more convinced that it was just unlucky that the room was tweeted and it’s believed two people we’re adamant they wanted to share illegal links into the room. But we are now convinced it is the illegal links that are causing the suspension of the rooms.
We will keep our eyes peeled, but if you are contacted about this sort of content or asked for $50 by an “adult performer” – to contact the host via the Zoom Chat or email us.
