Newbie Guide

If your new to the current platform, Zoom, here’s a few tips about the rooms and what you can expect from other members of the room.

Triangle warning symbol PLEASE NOTE: Be aware that there are some “bots” as most people call them in the rooms. They are broadcasting a pre-recorded video, probably of an adult performer. If you’re asked to pay money, $50 for a private chat/session has been quoted as an example, the person contacting you could be a scammer. If you’re in the room and approached by someone for payment as a “tribute”, that person could be fake. You could also be asked to join an adult site, but to verify you that your over 18 by using your credit card details, this also could be scam.

On our home page, you might see web links that look like this, they’re crossed out. These indicate the the room is no longer active.

There are two types of Zoom rooms, a host can either create a free account or host a paid for room. You’ll know if you’re in a free room as you will need to log into the room every 40 minutes. If the room doesn’t expire after 40 minutes, then a host has generously paid the room and won’t expire.

Paid for rooms generally expire after 24+ hours and you have to log in less often, but could mean people could fall asleep in front of their computer, meaning you see them asleep or hear their snoring.

Free rooms expire after 40 minutes and have the advantage that you need to constantly log in, so you know people are active within the room.

To use Zoom, it is recommended that you sign up for a Free Zoom account. That way you can control what name people see you as, as well as an avatar, if you wish. If you don’t and used Zoom during COVID for work, your real name might be displayed.

Having signed up for an account and on entering a room for the first time, we would recommend that you check your individual microphone and camera settings on entering. If it’s a paid for room, the host may have set if your microphone and camera are automatically enabled, you could be streaming your voice, TV, radio or phone conversation (that you might think is private). If that’s not what you want, you can mute your microphone and if you don’t want to activate your webcam, you can disable it as well.

“BOTS”

We had planned on showing photos of frequently seen bots, however, this could cause copyright issues as some members have realized they know their “stream” to be a pre-recorded video from an adult performer.

From looking at the recent bots, they are fairly easy to identify:

Muscular, often flexing their muscular arms and behaving in a way you would expect from an adult performer, rather than a real visitor to the room. They may also have more tattoos than the average person.

If you look at their eyes, they’re not viewing the room by looking at each individual streamer, they could have a pinned view and looking at one streamer, but it is a little suspicious.

Frequently look the same, despite time changing, the lighting in the room doesn’t seem to change (although that could be that you can’t see the sunlight coming into the physical room they are in)

They are hard for very long periods of time, this is usually possible as the “stream” you’re watching is restarting over several minutes and playing on a continuous loop.

They are busy keeping themselves hard and your wondering how they have managed to send a message about a “tribute” when there is no keyboard in the “steam” occasionally we have seen messages when the performer isn’t in front of their keyboard but they’ve still managed to message.

They don’t publicly chat, but once they have been discovered, will be extremely rude to the person has discovered them and eventually will leave.

The “stream” they broadcast, the face of the “performer” might change but their name doesn’t reflect they are a different person. Several video files could be queued up to play.

It’s kind of suspicious when people who don’t have their webcam switched on but use the messenger functions of Zoom. A proportion of room members don’t respond to messages from people who don’t have their webcam active.

STOP

If you’re approached for a “payment” for a “tribute” for a “private session” or to use your credit card to join a site and verify that your an adult by means of entering your credit card details and that there is “no charge for this verification”, STOP, your highly likely to get scammed. They could be offering highly illegal photos/videos as well.
