Zoom rooms come in two types, free – which have a limit of 40 minutes or paid for which last much longer, at least 24 hours. Rooms cost about $20-ish per month and if you like you can donate towards the next room, by clicking here.

We are considering making it so that you have to be invited into the room as we hope this will prevent spammers and scammers from coming into the room. As a rough idea if a member was willing to donate $10 – $20 per year or so and based on you’d have to be in the room to be able to report “it’s content”, we’d hope the room number and password would last a lot longer than they currently are. The Christmas 2024 room lasted around a week or two, which was disappointing but we did arrange another room, which was just as well, to date that room is still available.

We had planned to upgrade the current room after changing the password, but it wasn’t possible to keep the room number, so started with both a new room number and password.

When ever we do have a few dollars in the piggy bank, we would like to be able to have a paid for room. Feel free to donate a few extra dollars to keep everything going, the room, this site and the mailing list etc.
