We’ve been contacted by room users who stay they are being bullied by bots and being recommended to change into a room they control, they’ve been doing this by claiming that they are being recorded and should go into their room. Usually these bot rooms are free rooms even though you were in a paid room.

The rooms we’ve been setting up for the last few years aren’t being recorded by zoom, we tested a recording room and there is a verbal warning the room is being recorded as well as recording functionality near the green shield in the top right.

If your concerned your being recorded, we would recommend that you turn off your cam, cover your cam, look for the signs you are being recorded, even if that means leaving the room and coming back to check if the robotic voice warns you that you are being recorded.

While the bots have usually streaming content of an adult video, they have started using their regular names but with their cam off.

If you are in a chat with a bot please be careful and if your being asked to provide your credit card details to “prove” your an adult to view a website to view their profile with “photos” and “videos”. Think, who are you giving your credit card details to? What if the website had been created by the bot and you are just giving them your card details.

In the past people have entered into a room the bot(s) have created moving you away from the “official” room and then only being in a room with the bots. Usually they have still being broadcasting their usual adult videos and they seem to have changed tack by having no cam at all, since their videos seem to follow a regular path, that they are muscular tattooed adult videos being broadcasted. They are now starting to turn off their videos to ask for “$50 tributes”.
